Lisbon is a very welcoming city. The rhythm of life is quite calm. The nature around the city is beautiful, and it's easy to reach.
What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?
As there's a lot of fun things to do, it's easy to make friends. Portuguese students are quite opened for foreign students.
How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?
I spend 280€ on my room with bills included, transport costs 35 € per month, and on food you can spend a lot if you don't mind, but if you cook for yourself you can solve it from around 140€.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lisbon? Is there any advice you can give?
It's hard to get a good room for a good price if you search during university semesters. Be careful with windowless rooms.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Food is really good in general. Portugal has fishes, vegetables all year.
What places would you recommend visiting in Lisbon?
The list would be endless.
Is it good to eat out in Lisbon? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
I don't eat out often because i don't like spending money on food. Sushi is quite cheap by the way.
Is the nightlife good in Lisbon? Where is good to go?
It's very interesting. Lisbon offers brazilian music, african music, jazz, folk, the scale is quite vide.
What advice would you give future students heading to Lisbon?
There's a lot of places without heating. In the winter it's cold. There's a lot of rooms without window.
