What is it like to live in Lisbon? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is great because we can have great food at good prices, you can have fun every day of the week if you want to get out at night and have somethink to drink and dance and you have so many beatful places to see and visit.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

Students have a pretty good life here, because there are so many transportation to goo wherever they want (train,bus,metro,boat,taxi,uber).

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

I think comparing to other countries in the UN Portugal it is not that expensive. The prices are reasonable. Ofcourse in the center of the city the prices get higher but it is like every capital in the world.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lisbon? Is there any advice you can give?

I think it is not difficult, there are many accomodation available on websites. And you have rooms or houses of different price,it will depend on how far/close you are from the center of the city.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I think we have a great variaty of food. My favorite 3 dishes are bacalhau à Ze do pipo, francesinha and cozido à portuguesa.

What places would you recommend visiting in Lisbon?

I would reccomend to visit Belem to see the Padrao dos Descobrimentos, Belem Tower, Jerominos Monastery and also to eat the famous Pastel de Belem.

Is it good to eat out in Lisbon? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

We have many good places to eat but my favorites spots are "Marco" in Santos and "Adega das Gravatas" in Carnide.

Is the nightlife good in Lisbon? Where is good to go?

You can get out with friends if you like everyday of the week beacuse there are opened places everyday to do that, from sunday to saturday you can go to nightclubs like Urban Beach, Main or Lust in Rio. But if you just want to listen to music and talk to your friends you must visit Bairro Alto's bars.

What advice would you give future students heading to Lisbon?

If you are ready to study we have great universites and the environment is great between students. Most of us college students like to have a drink or two with friends and meet new people.
