What is it like to live in Lisbon? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Lisbon is one of the best cities to live in, it has everything from culture to green spaces and more and more people are trying to have a sustainable lifestyle.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

Studying in Lisbon is great, there is good transport, good universities and even better the parties are incredible. The city is big enough that there are always new places to visit.

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

The cost of living is average compared to other European capitals, however the rents are quite high, but the beauty of the city makes up for the money spent

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lisbon? Is there any advice you can give?

Yes it is, the accommodation needs to be taken care of as quickly as possible, there are more and more tourists and fewer houses for rent

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Portuguese food is fantastic, I've never heard anyone say otherwise. You can find traditional Portuguese food restaurants everywhere.

What places would you recommend visiting in Lisbon?

I recommend seeing all the monuments and definitely the gardens! I can give as an example the Gulbenkian Foundation and the Terreiro do Paço.

Is it good to eat out in Lisbon? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, the food in Lisbon is great. I would say that anyone who appreciates food should try 'Châpito à mesa, Guilty by oliver and many others. Literally every restaurant is excellent as long as it has Portuguese tradicional cuisine.

Is the nightlife good in Lisbon? Where is good to go?

Definitively. Bairro Alto and Cais do Sodré are my favorite spots, amazing at night there.

What advice would you give future students heading to Lisbon?

Make the most of the experience, and always take time to visit something new in the city, literally every corner is worth it.
