What is it like to live in Lisbon? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's a beautiful city, but for locals it's expensive to live in the city center and some of it's regions. I would recommend to visit and explore it by foot.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

We usually have a lot of assignments to do, but somehow we manage to have some fun.

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

It depends if you live in a student residency it will cost around 160-220 €, if you rent a room it's way more expensive, I guess that the cheapest now cost around 300 €. The transport system have a student discount (25 %) and you can travel in 18 municipalities of the Lisbon metropolitan region. The food depends on what do you like to eat but as for me 100 € per month are enough.

In residencies it is sometimes hard because there are usually a list of priorities. Rooms is difficult to find a good room for a good price. You can try to search if the university has dorms or try to search in in uniplaces (website).

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is really good and diverse. It's difficult to choose something that I like the most, because I usually eat food from different countries.

What places would you recommend visiting in Lisbon?

You should explore the sightseeing points, exploring the streets of Alfama, going to Monsanto for a walk or running, take a walk in Belém, visiting the Military Museum, Gulbenkian Park, Principe Real, Tapada das Necessidades, Palácio Pimenta.
