Why did you choose to go to Lisbon, Portugal?
Because of Erasmus Placement programme. I've chosen for the Studio I'm doing Internship.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
7 months. I received an amount of money of 350 euros monthly. It's not enough.
What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?
For erasmus people is everyday party and drinks in Bairro Alto. For me is free time only on Saturday and Sunday.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Lisbon to other students?
In summer semester, yes.
What is the food like?
Good.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lisbon?
Yes
How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?
For living is about 1000 euros monthly
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
They cost too much. 200-350 euros.
Buy a book of Grammar. Learn by yourself. Is better.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lisbon from your city?
On Foot. Monthly you have to pay 35 euros for using everything with green card.
TRAM are the worst.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lisbon?
Bairro Alto and a Club
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lisbon?
Mercado da Ribeira
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
CCB, Belem, Alfama. Everithing
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lisbon in the future?
Go to Lisbon In summer.
And don't take the tram.
Don't choose Lisbon for Internships.
