Why did you choose to go to Lisbon, Portugal?

Because I like hot countries like Portugal, Spain, I´m half portuguese so I wanted to live in this country and have that new experience.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I was here 2 semesters, so 10months and I recieved from erasmus 300€ every month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

I think that student lifestyle is good, only bad thing is that you have to be at school till 8:00pm.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lisbon to other students?

Yes I would recommend this city and University of Lisbon, it´s great place to stay.

What is the food like?

Food in Portugal is wonderfull.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lisbon?

Yes it was really dificult and accomodation is really expansive there.

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

I was living in 3 bedroom flat really far from city centre and it costs me 200€ per room, so it was 600€ per flat and plus we had to pay per electricity and water etc...

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I speak fluently portuguese so for me it is easy, but I think portuguese language is dificult to learn.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lisbon from your city?

I live in Slovakia, so the best way is by plane form Vienna, Austria.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lisbon?

Go to city centre and clubs like Urban Beach and Lux.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There are many cultural sites, try to see as much as possible, I really love the city centre, beaches near Lisbon,...

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lisbon in the future?

Go there and enjoy what that city offers you.
