Absolutely.

I am Italian, I prefer to cook!

Average Rent in central location fo a shared flat is 350 € expenses included.

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

Around 550 € per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

For Italian, Spanish and French speakers is easy. Average English level is very good anyway.

Flight.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lisbon?

Barrio Alto, Saldanha or Grassa.
