Why did you choose to go to Lisbon, Portugal?

I have a close friend that did erasmus in Lisbon so he had an influence on me..and I didnt regret it at all !!

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship was for 6 months and the money was 380 euros per month...It was quite enough for some basic staff like the rent and the supermarket costs..`

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

only one word for it A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lisbon to other students?

Of course...Lisbon is in my heart right now..a great city with creat people...Choose it!!!

What is the food like?

Great with good prices..especially fish!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lisbon?

It was quite hard to be honest to find something that I really liked but tottaly worthed it

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

In my opinion with around 400-450 per month you can have great time

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

All the courses were in Portugeuse ..Difficult I have to say but we had a language school that helped a lot

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lisbon from your city?

By plane !

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lisbon?

Weeelll..nights at Lisbon !! I have great memories ..!! Starting from Bairo Alto for beers and coctails down to Cais do Sodre or the clubs at Santos...I want to go back!!!!

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lisbon?

a lot of good traditional restaurants round the city center...

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Belem for sure...Sintra castles..Cabo da Roca..Alfama and all the miradouros specially the Seniora do MOnte...

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lisbon in the future?

Dont even think about it...Choose Lisbon for your erasmus....!! It is the best option !
