Why did you choose to go to Lisbon, Portugal?
The truth is that I didn't choose coming to Lisbon at the begging. But I think people should always take the opportunities that comes in your way, and now Lisbon would be the first place I would chose for an Erasmus without any doubt.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
My scholarship is for 10 months, and I have received around 1.700€ to help with the accommodation.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Lisbon to other students?
In my opinion this city is the best! Lisbon has everything you need, even nice and helpful people. I am also really happy with my university here, the Universidade Catolica.
What is the food like?
Portugues food remains me of the Spanish, and I like that because is so familiar for me and so good. But at the same time they have special ways of cooking food that I haven't tried before, as the bacalau a braz.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lisbon?
No, It was easy for me as I start to look for the accommodation long time before I came to Lisbon.
How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?
It depends on where you live, and other factors of your daily life. But without including the accommodation, you can spend around 250-300€ per month (including transport, mobile phone, food, party).
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lisbon from your city?
From Madrid the best way is by plane. It takes less than one hour and if you buy the tickets one month before you can get it cheap.
