Why did you choose to go to Lisbon, Portugal?

Basically for the weather and the location in Europe, and the lifestylee

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

1000 euros per month for Lisbon because its the capital its a bit more expensive that the cities around

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

portugese people are really nice, the night lie is great, the sight seeing as well. You can rent a car fr a very attractive price and go around to visit some very nice places. I really loved Portugal i stayed 2 years after the erasmus year, i started to work.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lisbon to other students?

Yes i will

What is the food like?

I am french so our food is really awesome, i would say its fine food and you have a lot of diversity of restaurants and cultures in there so its overall good and cheap

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lisbon?

Yes of course and its not very cheap according to the crisis in there

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

per month i would say at least 800 euros

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

yeah there are but dont count on them you have to practise on yr own and hang with local people

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lisbon from your city?

plane

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lisbon?

bairro alto, expo, cais do sodre and urban beach

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lisbon?

look in tripadvisor they really have nice adresses

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

belem, cais, cristo rei, the bridges, expo the castle theyr are plentyyyy

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lisbon in the future?

just go there and enjoy the ppl the coktails witch are perfect caipirinha caiporoska, the nice sea food like ameijoas the nice beaches in estoril caiscais etc
