Because I wanted to learn portugese and I wanted a place with a nice weather

My scholarship was 6 months long and I received 250 euros per month

Students have just a few places to go in lisbon unless you want to party.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lisbon to other students?

Depends on what you like, If you are looking for a cheap place and you don´t care about a small flat or the public transport, then is a good place for you.

What is the food like?

The food is really good, but you must love fish if you want to love portugeses food

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lisbon?

It was difficult to find a cheap one

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

around 400 euros/month

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

My university offered courses, I´m from spain, and the language is very similar to mine, so it was easy to understand.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lisbon from your city?

The easiest way is by plane, and if you book it with enough time it can also be the cheapest.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lisbon?

Urban, Lisboa rio or barrio alto

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lisbon?

Anyone with a good price in the menu.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Monumento ao cristo rei, Belem

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lisbon in the future?

Bring boots and coat, it rains a lot
