Why did you choose to go to Lisbon, Portugal?

Because of the living environment (student life) and the interesting company to work with.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

For me, 3 months, and I have received 1333 € in total.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

From Thursday to Sunday night parties. The rest of the days, people just chill.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lisbon to other students?

Yes of course! People are very nice, there aren't any conflict there!

What is the food like?

A wide range of FISH!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lisbon?

I found a collocation for one room for 450 €.

It was enough far to my company but subway and bus are very well served.

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

Between 15-25€ per day if you eat outside in restaurants.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

For me, as French, Portuguese is rather easy to read because some words are similar. However, I spoke all the time in English and people speak well.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lisbon from your city?

I don't know, but the most economical and easiest way to travel around Lisbon is to take a monthly subscription for subway including bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lisbon?

In the center "Bairo Alto" and some roof tops.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lisbon?

Privilege small restaurants in the small street safe from tourists.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

ZOO, go to SINTRA, castello St. Jorge, Benfica stadium, park Eduardo, all the point of view, and so on. There are a lot things to see there!

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lisbon in the future?

Don't hesitate to move and meet people! Take roommates with you.
