Why did you choose to go to Lisbon, Portugal?

Because I have been always fascinated by Portugal in general and Lisbon in particular. Moreover I'm a "see-side" and sun lover and Lisbon has both of them.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The schplarship was scheduled for a period of 5 months,280 per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

Smart and exciting. I loved studying in Lisbon because I learnt a lots of practical thinghs in stead of just studying teoretical stuff.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lisbon to other students?

Of course and I'm doing it. An university-mate chose Lisbon as destination for the erasmus project at the beginning of last semester because I was telling her my experience.

What is the food like?

Amazing,simple,fresh,healthy and tasting.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lisbon?

No,it was an easy thing.

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

Around 500 euro per month (but I was living on my own in a studio,if you share costs are lower).

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Well is not that easy actually but the courses available at the university and in other private institutions help student in getting the language.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lisbon from your city?

It was by plane from Venice.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lisbon?

Everywhere!!

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lisbon?

Yes especially in Mouraria and Alfama but also in Bairro of Madragoa and along the Tejo.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The town itself,everywhere you can easily find something to visit!

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lisbon in the future?

Enjoy and forget the european life style.
