Why did you choose to go to Lisbon, Portugal?

It's my second stay in Lisbon. 2 years ago I did Eramus at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, now I am doing Erasmus internship at University of Lisbon.
So I decided to came back mostly because of my friends.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Now I will stay in Lisbon for 4 months and my grant is 480euro but paid just for 3 months. 2 years ago I spent here 5 months with grant of 300euro.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

I may say - studying, working during the day hard but partying harder at night,

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lisbon to other students?

Totally. The city is full of cool spots and very interesting people. University has really good opinion.

What is the food like?

Mostly seafood and a lot of desserts, which I love.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lisbon?

I think that you can have room for 250-300euro. Price depends on localization.

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

I've never counted, but I think around 450-500euro?

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

At the University of Lisbon all foreign students are invited to free portuguese courses during the semester.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lisbon from your city?

There is only one way - plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lisbon?

Bairro Alto, Miradouro Sao Pedro de Alcantara, Cais do Sodre, Santos.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lisbon?

All locals located on Rua Augusta and Alfama.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

I have no idea.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lisbon in the future?
