Why did you choose to go to Lisbon, Portugal?
I choose Lisbon because it is a capital city and I had a chance to go one of the best university in the country: University of Lisbon.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
In Lisbon, the rents are expensive but other expenses are normal.
What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?
Student lifestyle is Lisbon is very awesome. There are always events, parties etc.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Lisbon to other students?
I recommend the city because It's one of the best Erasmus cities.
What is the food like?
Portuguese traditional food is generally made from fish. And they are famous with the special deserts but in generally the foods are not for everyone in my opinion.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lisbon?
No, but you need to spent around 400-450 euros.
How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?
Around 500 euros in a month.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes, language courses are available.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lisbon from your city?
By plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lisbon?
Bairro Alto is the most populer area for night life.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lisbon?
Nope.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
There are many historical places to visit: Belem, Sİntra, Baixa-Chiado, etc.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lisbon in the future?
Lisbon is a proper city for every student. There's always fun, the city is safe and nice and portuguese people are very kind and helpful.
