Why did you choose to go to Lisbon, Portugal?

I decided to try something new and not on the ordinary, choosing Lisbon was definitely the best decision ever!

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

There´s a lot of erasmus students whom you get along with during the semester, most of the universities are pretty nice, the student life is great you can always go to a coffee shop, a park or a miradouro (viewpoint) to study.

What is the food like?

I actually enjoyed a lot the food, but my best friend she doesnt like sea food too much, and I think the speacility of Lisbon is sea food and of course pasteis de nata (custard pies) which are the best!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lisbon?

Not too much, there are so many different places for accommodation, very budget friendly and there´s always the one you are looking for!

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

It depends on the lifestyle you wanna give to yourself, I paid 210 euros for rent (per month), 50-60 euros for food of the month, 35 euros for transportation (monthly), and the rest depends on how much you wanna travel/party/drink :)

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I speak Spanish so for me its quite easy to understand, but there are always courses available and there are lots of people who speaks english as well.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lisbon?

Erasmus Corner for sure! Or Pink Street, after that there are multiple night clubs which you can enjoy, Urban beach, musicbox, place etc..

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lisbon?

I used to cook a lot at home, but I think anywhere near baixa chiado or in Rossio, you will find lots of portuguese typical food.
