Why did you choose to go to Lisbon, Portugal?

Because i wanted to pursue the course offered only in Portugal from the list of course i had actually listed in the application.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

2 years. 1000 euros per month plus health insurance and return ticket.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

Its good, quite similar to what i have in my home country.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lisbon to other students?

Ofcourse.

What is the food like?

I have not frequent visitor to Portuguese restaurents, more so because being vegetarian, i dont find many options. But for others, it would be great expereince.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lisbon?

NOt really.

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

around 200-300 euros per month depending on the location and facilities you wish to take.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Language is not a problem and youngsters are quite fluent in english. Ample of language course to take from.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lisbon from your city?

By Lisbon metro or bus. I know people who travelled all on foot.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lisbon?

Baixa Chaido

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lisbon?

There are amny but i dont know any specific for the reasons mentioned above.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There are several in and around Lisbon.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lisbon in the future?

Just be prepared to enjoy your experience.
