Why did you choose to go to Lisbon, Portugal?

I came to Lisbon to study

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Scholarship last Two years, earning around 800 euros monthly

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

I have just arrived here so I can't tell much about what does student lifestyle looks like in Lisbon. But I think it can usually be divided between studying hard during the working days and hanging out with friends and school mates at beautful places at down town lisbon city, such as: historical buildings and museum, Pubs, etc. For those who are amature photographer, there are plenty of landscape to take memorable portrait

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lisbon to other students?

Certainly

What is the food like?

Bacalhau is Tasty

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lisbon?

At first but Erasmus website helped so much to make the choice

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

For student it can range in average between 300-400 euros per month, depending upon the part of the city you reside

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Portuguese can be somehow difficult to get grisp with if you think that way. The language is in fact easy to learn if you are willing to do so. It can takes few months for a dedicated person start saying few words.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lisbon from your city?

By flight

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lisbon?

I would recommend Bairro Alto at Chiado. There they have good food, bear and Pubs with live shows

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lisbon?

Usually I used to eat at University resturant and at home.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Basilica da Estrela, Rocio square are some of the postal card.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lisbon in the future?
