Why did you choose to go to Lisbon, Portugal?

I wanted to go to south, warm place :)

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship was one semester long, 5 month. I recieved 300 euro per months only from the erasmus programme.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

In my opinion it was great, the student are equally party and study enough.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lisbon to other students?

Definitely. Lisbon was a pure beuty.

What is the food like?

For me it was a littleboring, not enough spicy. But i am hungarian.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lisbon?

No, i as lucky

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

My accomodation cost 250 euro, and the food, drink, if I didn't spend to much was around 100 euro, the transportation16 euro, so around 400 euro per month, but if i want to enjoy myself go a restaurant or dink a beer somewhere or go to a party that would be much more.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I had a chance to learn portugese, it was ok. But the language is as a hungarian was strange, it sounds like a drunken hungarian or russian try to speak mixed english, french, spanish.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lisbon from your city?

There no economical way. It's not cheap. But the less expensive is the flying.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lisbon?

Bairro Alto, dont go to a fancy bar, breathe in the lisbon night in Bairro alto.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lisbon?

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The national museum and the Fado museum.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lisbon in the future?

Go out to learn surfing. Dont miss it.
