Why did you choose to go to Lisbon, Portugal?

For the ocean, to surf and because of some friends that have been there before

What is the student lifestyle like in Lisbon?

Morning...what's "morning"?! :P
Afternoon: you go to class if you have any and if you want to
Evening: dinner at about 8-9pm with friends/flatmates
Midnight: Bairro alto that is a place full of small bars with a lot of people outside drinking very, VERY cheap beers or cocktails

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lisbon to other students?

Yes, of course!

What is the food like?

A lot of bacalhau, a lot of allyoucaneat&drink.
Overall the quality is not so bad (and my standard are high since I'm italian :P )

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lisbon?

No

How much does it cost to live in Lisbon?

The life there is cheap.
But whatch out since you think "oh, this is very cheap, why shouldn't I do/buy it?!" in the end you pay a lot :D

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

For latin people yes, it is. Yes, for every university

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lisbon from your city?

Easyjet.
TAP (national portuguese airline) if you have luggages

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lisbon?

Bairro first, for the pre-party
Then: Urban Beach, Lux or Main

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lisbon?

Tia Natercia. And a brazilian allyoucaneat near the elevadores, but I don't remember the name

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lisbon in the future?

If you want to surf ask to the company "Puro surf"
It's is very, very cheap (10€ for 2 hours of lessons (and that is enough, trust me!) everything inclued + 5€ if you want the transportation service from Marques de Pombal), they are very nice and very kind!
Enjoy Lisbon...I miss it!
