A dream realised

The ideal city to do an Erasmus. There are so many advantages: living costs, the functional transport, the fantastic climate (in five months it only rained for a total of two weeks). The city is very big and like all capitals it offers many events every evening such as concerts, sport events and festivals. I went to the independent university of Lisbon and overall I fitted in well, the lessons were in Portuguese but thanks to the availability of the lecturers and my efforts I managed to pass 4 exams. The study load is much lighter than Italian universities. I recommend starting your studies in the second half of the year to better take advantage of the proximity to the ocean and the summer that starts early in Portugal :)! For the budget, rent prices never surpass €350 for a single. You can easily find rooms for €250 if you search for some time. With a total of €750 a month I managed to live well (including rent, eating at a restaurant at least once a week, clubbing at the weekend and Sundays at Da Luz to see Benfica play).

Choose Lisbon and you will not regret it! Até logo.
