Why did you choose to go to Liege, Belgium?
I was adviced by my teacher, actually.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I got 1000 euros to live for 4 months. Not enough.

Rigid, serious and little social. Very academical.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Liege to other students?
No.
What is the food like?
I come from Spain and certainly I miss Spanish food.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Liege?
I was for a week looking for accommodation that would fit my budget.
How much does it cost to live in Liege?
It is quite expensive, except for the bus everything is at least a 30% more expensive.

There are free French courses in the University. The language is French, and many people knows a little English but overall it is a poor use of it.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Liege?
People in Liege consider night the time from 7pm on, as a note. I personally have barely been out.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Liege?
Not really.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Liege in the future?
- Prepare your budget because it is expensive. It is noticiable that Liege is a very old-looking city and is almost always cloudy, with many crows. You better stay away if you like really happy looking places. If you do not mind, it is okay.
- It is also very complex and you will easily get lost since has plenty of tiny streets.
- The language is French. Do not think English will be enough.
- As soon as you get to Liege, try to get a TEC bus card. It will be very useful.
