Why did you choose to go to Liege, Belgium?

I chose Liege because I love French language and being in Liege offered me the opportunity to travel to many places.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship was for the whole duration of the exchange programme (6 months).

What is the student lifestyle like in Liege?

It is really active.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Liege to other students?

I would definitely recommend the University as such but the city as well.

What is the food like?

The food is ok, nothing special to me.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Liege?

I was cheaper than in other cities such as Brussels for example, but a budget of 250-300 euros per month is needed.

How much does it cost to live in Liege?

Overall, it was 600 euros per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The University offers language courses for free so it is quite an opportunity to improve the language.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Liege from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Liege?

In Le Carre or Pot au Lait.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Liege?

Not really.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Quile a lot, I loved the architectural style of the churches in the city.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Liege in the future?

Just enjoy every moment of your experience.
