School parties, many activities in the center (a lot of things to do in the center)... Liège is really a student megalopolis.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Liege to other students?

Many gastronomic restaurants... Italian, French, Belgian, Turkish, Chinese... not expensive and very very good quality. you can find almost whatever you want at any time of the day and night.

Sure, French is spoken everywhere and of course you can find easily some courses in the university.

Train and bus.

Carré, Outremeuse and the center.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Liege?

  • The kitchen restaurant (an Italian one).
  • Grill st Paul (all kinds of grilled meats).
  • La cité du Dragon (a Chinese one).
  • La main à la pâte.
  • The Huggys bar (best burgers of the whole town).

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

  • Signal de Botrange.
  • Grand Curtius (group of museums).
  • Opéra royal de Wallonie.
  • Chateau de Jehay.
  • Domaine de Wégimont.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Liege in the future?

It's a very nice city, many students never go back home. And get ready for a weird weather (four seasons in one day). You will surely enjoy your stay, no doubt about it.
