To learn the French language and have a different experience in the North of Europe.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My scholarship was of 1 year and was enough for this period of studies, it helped me so much.

What is the student lifestyle like in Liege?

The student lifestyle in Liege is really good, useful and nice, I really enjoyed it.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Liege to other students?

I really recommend the city and the University of Liege, it really is the best University in Europe.

What is the food like?

There are different kinds of food from different nationalities, the speciality of the place are the fretts, good.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Liege?

It cost me a little. I wold have liked to pay a bit less.

How much does it cost to live in Liege?

The cost of life and the accommodation aren't too expensive, but anyway it is still expensive for a student.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The French language is really beautiful, for me it was easy and the courses were really good.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Liege from your city?

By plane

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Liege?

Le Carré and Pot au lait bar.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Liege?

In the zone of Outremuse there are lots of restaurants.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The city center, the cathedral, chanche musea, le citadelle etc

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Liege in the future?

Liege is an wonderful city, there is a good ambiance of polite and sociable people. I enjoyed my whole year in Liege and I miss all of the place. This experience changed my life in different ways. If you want to go to Liege, just go because you will live an experience you will never forget.
