Igreja de São Francisco

São Francisco church is the second biggest church in Evora. It is located near Praça do Giraldo and the public garden and it has many secrets.

It is a church like many others from the 17th century - with a main aisle, an altar and many religous images. It also has many beautiful and colorful stained glass that makes beautiful backlighting. 

You can go up the church and find its treasures in the religious museum. From above, you'll be able to see the hole city. 

Also, you can visit a model of the original church (before restaurations) and see part of its old cloisters.

Another thing that you can and must visit that is part of the church is the Capela dos Ossos, a chapel made out of human bones! 

All of this things require tickets to get in (3 euros for students), except for the main church, which is free! But all of them are must sees in Evora
