Not at all. It depends on the time. As long as it is not the time when new students come, it is pretty easy to find a room here.

Fish. Herring.
What places would you recommend visiting in Enschede?
Oude Markt. UT Forest.
Is it good to eat out in Enschede? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Eating out side is a bit expensive.
Is the nightlife good in Enschede? Where is good to go?
There are a lot of bars and pubs in city center. It is a good choice for young people.
What advice would you give future students heading to Enschede?
Enjoy the peaceful life in Enschede. Don't forget to try Herring in Open Market which is open every Tuesday and Saturday. BTW, Nano lab of Utwente is the best in EU.
