What is it like to live in Enschede? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Enschede is actually one of the biggest tech regions in the Netherlands. With the University of Twente, the biggest university in the region, this city is home to one of the four leading tech universities in the Netherlands. As a result, there are loads of job opportunities in the tech sector but also in other fields, and far less competition than in the Amsterdam region. So far, the university has launched more than 700 start-ups. In addition, Enschede borders Germany, which makes this part of the Euregion, within which 130 Dutch and German cities join forces when it comes to doing business.

What is the student lifestyle like in Enschede?

Ii is very good, there al lot of possibilities to relax, cafe's, bar, restaurants, sports, theater, big musictheater.

How much does it cost to live in Enschede?

There a lot of possibilities.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is potatoes with meat, but there are a lot of possibilities; Italian, China,Greek food als used by Dutch people.

What places would you recommend visiting in Enschede?

Center, different Parks, Rijksmuseum, Football Stadion, Go planet Park, Ice Skating Stadion, Technology Base, University Twente, Saxion Highschool.

Is it good to eat out in Enschede? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

There a lot of restaurants for everybodys taste.

Prepare yourself and get information by internet and perhapps people like me.
