Why did you choose to go to Craiova, Romania?

I had no other choice.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My scholarship is 360 euros.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Craiova to other students?

I would recommend the city to other students. It is a nice place to stay, but not too long because you get bored very soon. It is a small city and everything happens in the center.

What is the food like?

The food is great.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Craiova?

No, I choose to live in the dormitory. Flats are also not expensive, but if you want a real student life you should choose dormitories.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language is not easy to learn and it depends of which is your mother language. If you speak italian it will be easier to learn romanian. The university provides free romanian courses.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Craiova from your city?

With an aeroplane to Bucharest and then the train from Bucharest to Craiova (about 3 hours).

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Craiova?

In the center there are 5 or 6 pubs/clubs.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Craiova?

Shaorma places.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Romanecu park and museums in the center.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Craiova in the future?

Stay in craiova but travel a lot to other places in Romania.
