Why did you choose to go to Craiova, Romania?

I wanted to do my Erasmus in a small city.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My scholarship is 2000 euros for 9 months.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Craiova to other students?

I would recommend the city to other students, although you can get bored easily.

What is the food like?

I didnt have so many vegan options.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Romanescu park, Tineretului park and museums in the center.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Craiova?

No, I chose to live in the dormitory. It´s so cheap.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language is easy to learn if you already know another latin language. The university provides free romanian courses for erasmus students.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Craiova from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Craiova?

To the centre, all places are near.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Craiova in the future?

If you dont have mandatory courses try to travel as much as you can.
