What is it like to live in Cork? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I would highly recommend Cork to anyone who wishes to travel to Ireland. There are lots of things to do and see here. There is a great transport system available to get to different locations around the city and county. It is a vibrant city with lots of different cultures.

What is the student lifestyle like in Cork?

The student life in Cork is great. You will never go short of a party to attend! Cork people are very friendly, and you will always have somewhere to go! The clubs in Cork vary between location, music, etc. but there is definitely something for everyone.

How much does it cost to live in Cork?

It is the same in most other counties. Rent per week is between €90 - 110. The cost of living is normal. To go out it is €5 - 7 entry to nightclub, drinks are around €5 each.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is great here! There are hundreds of different restaurants in the city from Italian to Chinese and Indian.

What places would you recommend visiting in Cork?

Kinsale is a beautiful town on the coast. Lovely scenery there.
