What is it like to live in Cork? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
If you want a truly authentic Irish experience, Cork is definitely the way to go. The university excells academically in the sciences and the city itself is a great one.

It's a pretry standard student experience I think
How much does it cost to live in Cork?
Nowhere near as expensive as Dublin, but it's certainly not the cheapest place in the world.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Cork? Is there any advice you can give?
I have no idea to be honest.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The food in restaurants is excellent. A personal favourite of mine is to go to the English market and get a sandwich or salad from the back of the olive place. Great value and delicious
What places would you recommend visiting in Cork?
City gaol, fota, glucksman gallery, Crawford art gallery

Yes! There are so many places for every budget
Is the nightlife good in Cork? Where is good to go?
Yes, it depends what you want. If uo want good live music the oliver plunkett is the place to be, but there ae lots of great local pubs for a quiet pint or clubs ifor dancing is more your speed (chambers is a great night out)
What advice would you give future students heading to Cork?
Get used to walking, because although everything is close by when you're in the city, the public transport is somewhat lacking. But it's a fantastic place to be.
