Experience in Bristol, United Kingdom by Hayley
Is it good to eat out in Bristol? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
ZaZaBazar, St Nicks street has loads of small independant street food outlets, open everyday, I first discovered the best falafel pitta I have ever had here at 'Eat a pitta'. They also have a street shop just outside cabot Circus.
Cabot circus has the big restuarants.
Roll for the sole - a cafe, revolved around the bucycles (as bristol is a 'green' city os adovcates cycling) they have the best sandwiches and lunches, highly recommended. Bagel Brothers are also great.
Is the nightlife good in Bristol? Where is good to go?
The nightlife is great. If you enjoy going to gigs and concerts then you can go to the Thekla, marble factory, the fleece, the O2, the colston hall, the Bunker and loads more places. Just search gigs in Bristol and it will come up with a list.
As for the clubbing scene, there is againt he Thekla (which is boat, an episode of Skins the Tv show was filmed on it) and it is one of my favourite places to go, syndicate for your more mainstream clubbing in the centre of bristol, Prism, again the O2 for Ramshakle, the Fleece also has a club night called Propaganda.
If you want to start your night or just have a more civilised night out then head to the watershed or Queens square. The bar under Zazabazaar (which is also highly recommended for all you can eat every corner of the world buffet - great atmosphere) and the Cuban. The cuban also has 'ladies night', dance nights, cocktail nights.
