Experience in Bristol, United Kingdom by Afisa
What is it like to live in Bristol? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
It's a fun city with two universities so a lot of students live here. The city is big but not too big and has tons of things to do and see so everyone has a place.
What is the student lifestyle like in Bristol?
The bus systems revolve around the universities and the city center, so it's easy to travel. The nightlife is the same. Cheap drinks. Somewhere to go every night. Fun people all the time!
How much does it cost to live in Bristol?
Depending on the location. The city center will cost a lot more, but a nice place not far from the center is Clifton where it costs an average of £500 a month!
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bristol? Is there any advice you can give?
A lot of halls are taken quite quickly, but there are new buildings being built right now for that. A lot of people prefer houses and Bristol has a lot of nice big ones that you can share with people and make loads is friends.
What is the food like? What are your favorite dishes?
Bristol is a massively culturally diverse city, there's something from everywhere to try. I love going to the Lebanese place on Gloucester Road (Lona Grill House), but then I also love the Vietnamese restaurant in front of it. Loads of little businessss.
Is the nightlife good in Bristol? Where is good to go?
Here are several bars and clubs: Pryzm, SWX, Mbargo, Agora, Antix, Thekla (a club on a boat), and Lakota.
