If there's something that i missed of Lisbon the months after ersmus it's the very famous "Pastel de Nata".

The Pastel de Nata (cream pastries) is the typical sweet of Lisbon, or better of Belèm, where there's still is the ancient recipe.

The Pastel has to be eaten warm, with a bit of cinnamon on it.

Every morning my breakfast was "cafè pingado" (macchiato coffee) and a pastel de nata. You can find it everywhere, from the pingo doce to the continent, qithout forget the famous "mini preco". But my favourite place will always remain the "Padaria Portuguesa", the one in Praca Camoes, not so far away from the famous "cafè la Braziliera", in the middle of Baiza Chiado. I also had a padaria behind my house, and i can say that when i was really hungry in the morning a great "pao com chourico" alwaysa saved me.

In the supermarket the pastel de nata cost only 0, 19€. And that's it guys! Pastel de nata forever!

In the photo you can find my typical breakfast: croissant from pingo doce, pastel de nata and a cappuccino, very good if you're in an hurry and on a budget.
