Scholarships for master degree in the University of Verona

Economics Department offers a master degree in Economics (MAGEC) for both local and non-EU students. This is a good and well-organized degree programme. They pair all the economics subjects with other important subjects for the business field in English medium. They teach Econometrics, Micro and Macroeconomics, Risk Managements, Game Theory Applications, International Economics Law, Investment, Health and Environment Economics, Public Policy Analysis, Corporate Taxation and Local Development Economics.

They offer 3 full funded scholarship in each year with the amount of 9000 euros per year. You can find more details and application procedures on this website: MagecVerona. The selecting committee allocates the points for your CV, degree certificate and other certificates. According to the marks, the first three candidates who obtained the highest grades will be awarded the scholarships. If one of the first three candidates does not accept the scholarship or does not appear to enrol for the degree then the scholarship will automatically pass to the next person in the list.

Even though you did not get this scholarship, if you have residence in Italy don't worry because you can apply for regional scholarships. Both Italians and non-Italian residents can apply for regional scholarships not only for this master degree but also for all the types of bachelor degrees, master degree and PHD programmes.

For that you should prepare an ISEE at the CAF recommended by the University. In my case I lost my regional scholarship in the first year, since the CAF made ISEE in the wrong way. So, my advice is to make sure to prepare your ISEE from a proper CAF and recheck it with the relevant office. Then you should apply for the scholarship through your personal University account (ESSE3 UNIVR). The amount you get from the scholarship will depend on the region you live. The number of scholarships is limited and the limit will vary from one year to another.
