Hey guys hope you all are doing well. Today I want to share with you some of the most delicious salads I've tasted and that I've tried at my home. Most of the salads are easy to make. In some circumstances lunch ccan be a tricky meal to cook but you need to eat something inorder to maintain blood sugar levels. Salads are the perfect solutions under such circumstances. Here are some of the salad recipes that are easy to make and at the same time gives you good energy..!

Cucumber Salad:

So my first recipe for you will be cucumber salad and the ingredients that I'm mentioning is for eight people. So, to make this salad you will need

01. Cucumber thin slices 

02. Onion 1nos 

03. White vinegar 1 cup

04.white sugar 3/4cup

05.water 1/2cup

06.Dried dill to taste

Lets see how this delicious salad is made. Take a bowl and mix finely chopped onions with the cucumber and keep it aside. Take a sauce pan add the water, vinegar and white sugar, mix it well. Place it over a lighted stove. Wait till it gets boiled. Add this boiling mixture over the mixed vegetables. Add dill to taste and mix with the rest of the mixture. Let it cool down for at least 30 minutes. Serve after 30 minutes your taststy cucumber salad is ready to serve.

Spicy Bean Salad:

The next salad variety that I would like to share with you hear is the Spicy Bean Salad. To make this delicious dish you will be needing the following ingredients.

01. 1can Black Beans

02.1can Dark red kidney beans

03.1can garbazno beans

04.1can pinto beans

05.1 pack of frozen corn kernels

06.1 tablespoon vegetable oil

07.1 teaspoon cumin seeds

08.1 teasspoon lime juice

09. 2 tablespoon chili powder

10.1 jar chunky salsa

11. A pinch of dried parsley

Althought you have a lot of ingredients on the list the way of making this delicious salad is quite simple. Rinse the beans well in water and the pour them on a large bowl. Add corn, oil, cumin seeds, chili powder, and salsa. Sprinkle it with parsley and cover it.  Wait for at least one hour before serving.

Bok Choy Salad

The next salad which we are about to do contains bok choy and hence its name bok choy salad. To prepare this salad you will be needing the following ingredients.

01. 1 medium head bok choy

02. bunch green onions

03.1 pack of ramen noodles

04. 1/2 cup blanched silver almonds

05. 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

06.1/3 cup olive oil

07.3 teaspoons lemon juice

How is this salad prepared?? 

First you have to combine bok choy and green onions. Take a bowl add olive oil, lemon juice, ramen noodles seasoning packet and whisk it together. Refrigerate dressing and bok choy mixture separately for about 30 minutes. Break Ramen noodles into small pieces. Mix the toasted almonds and sesame seeds. Now combine the cabbage mixture and noodle mixture, add dressing and toss to coat.

Exotic Chicken Salad

The next sald on our list is a delicious, juicy chicken salad. In order to make this delicious salad you will be needing the following ingredients.

01. 1 honeydrew melon

02. 6 cups of cubed cooked chicken

03. 2 cups of chopped celery

04. 2 cups of seedless grapes

05. 1 can sliced water chestnuts

06. 1/2 cup sour cream

07. 1/2 cup plain yoghurt

08. 1/2 teaspoon curry powder

09. salt to taste

10. pepper to taste.

Making all these ingredients ready let us no see how this delicious salad is prepared. Cut melon in half and remove the seeds. Cut it into pieces of sizes that you can bite. Add chicken, celery, grapes, and water chestnuts. Now take the sour cream, yoghurt and curry powder in a small bowl and whisk it together, Now add this into the sald and gently stir. Season the salad with salt and pepper before you serve. Exotic chicken salad is ready.!

Sweet and Sour Tomato Salad:

To prepare this tasty sweet and sour tomato sald you will need the following ingredients.

01. Tomatoes 7nos

02. Small Onion 1nos

03. White Sugar 1/2cup

04. Distilled White Vinegar 1/2cup

05. Vegetable Oil 1/2cup

06. Salt to taste

07. Pepper to taste

To make this salad first slice the tomatoes thinly. Cut the onion into hal and then slice it into half circles. In a large bowl combine tomatoes, onion, sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper. Serve the salad at room temperature. The famous sweet and sour tomato salad is ready to serve..!!!

Filling Tomato Cucumber Salad

To make this salad you will need the following items

01. 1 Tomato chopped

02. 1 cucumber which is seeded and chopped

03. 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onions

04. 1/4 cup canned kidney beans

05. 1/4 cup diced firm tofu

06. 2 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

07. 1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing

To make the following dish combine tomato, cucumber, red onion, kidney beans, tofu, basil in a large bowl. Toss with balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing and season it with salt and pepper. Your filling tomato cucumber salad isready to serve.!!

Eggplant Tomato Salad

The next salad recipe which we are about to learn is Egg Plant Tomato Salad.The ingredients that are needed to make this salad are

01. 1 Green bell pepper

02. 1 large red bell pepper

03. 7 tomatoes

04. 1 eggplant

05. 4 cloves crushed garlic

06. 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

07. 2 tablespoons tomato paste

08. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

09, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

To prepare this dish first roast the peppers until skin turns black. Cool in a plastic bag. Remove burnt skin and rinse well. Boil the tomatoes for a minute and cool in ice water. peel and chop. Cut the eggplant into small strips and saute in oil for about 6 to 8 minutes. Once the eggplant is spft add garlic to the mixture. 

Open the peppers and remove seeds, Cut it into small strips and add to eggplant. Add tomatoes to egg plant mixture. Add tomato paste, salt, pepper and cayenn. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Let the salad cool before serving.

Healthy Greek Salad:

The next salad on our list today will be healthy greek salad and to make this you will be needing the below mentioned ingredients.

01. 3 large ripe tomatoes chopped

02. 2 Cucumbers peeled and chopped

03. 1 small red onion

04. 4 teaspoons lime juice

05. 1 1/2 teaspoons of dried oregano

06. salt to taste

07. pepper to taste

08. 1 cup crumbled feta cheese

09. 6 black greek olives that are pitted and sliced

To prepare this dish you must first combine the tomatoes and onions in a bowl. Sprinkle this with oil, lemon juice, oregano. salt and pepper. Sprinkle feta cheese and  oliives over the salad and your salad is ready to serve.

Mediterranean Broccoli Salad.

To make this mediterranean Broccoli salad you will need the following ingredients

01. 3 Heads fresh broccoli choppes

02. 1 red onion chopped

03. 3 can jumbo black olives sliced

04. 2 jars marinated artichoke hearts sliced

05. 3 large tomatoes chopped

06. 3 bunches green onions choppes

07. 1 bottle Italian stle salad dressing

To make this recipe you must first mix the broccoli, red onion, olives, artichoke heatsm tomatoes, green onions in a bowl. Add the dressing, toss, cover and refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.

These salads are very easy to make and you dont have to be a pro to do them. It is simple, delicious and really healthy.! Try them  at your home and taste it.!
