One last recipe
Today guys as i promised i will show you how to prepare one last pasta recipe so i can end this blog chapter for good . Two months ago i started with blog with the purpose of giving you guys some ideas and tips on how to prepare a tasty plate of Italian pasta . I promised you six recipes and i delivered the all six of them with one extra bonus which was last week's Chicken Alfredo baked Penne . I have one more recipe in order to complete the blog and today i cooked it for you guys .
I kind of got used to cooking Erasmus recipes and post them on the blog , it gave me the feeling of having an extra part time job by blogging every day , so it was definitely an awesome experience which taught me a lot about cooking and food and i also learn alongside you guys new recipes and tastes , so i thank everybody who took a minute and enter my ''Pasta Recipes'' blog and read my stories .
Today i will teach you guys how to prepare Spaghetti with classical tomato sauce and a pinch of basil . It is by far the most easy recipe i cooked for the past weeks and probably the one with less ingredients but still an amazing and challenging taste. To tell you the truth i think the most hard pasta recipe was the shrimp one but i learn how to cook it in the same time i showed you guys so it was a teaching recipe for me as well .
Spaghetti with Classical Tomato sauce
Sometimes and some days when you crave for some spaghetti and you don't have too many ingredients in your kitchen stock you may end up doing this recipe and to tell you the truth i often crave some classical tomato pasta recipe . I remember back in the days when i still didn't learn how to cook so good and me and my mom use to eat spaghetti just with ketchup or just with tomato sauce , but i think everybody pass throw that time .
In order to cook the following recipe you need:
Ingredients :
- spaghetti
- oil ( 2 spoons )
- tomato sauce
- fresh tomatoes (1 or 2 )
- mozarella or parmesan or just regular cheese
- onion
- garlic ( optional )
- salt
- pepper
- dried oregano
- parsley
- basil leaves
As for the spaghetti you can always replace them with penne or fusilli whatever you enjoy more . I personally prefer for this particularly recipe to use spaghetti .
Step by step recipe :
-of course the first step is always to cook the spaghetti according to the package instruction which is placing the pasta into boiling water with plenty of salt for about 8 to 10 minutes . But make sure to taste them before closing the fire . When they are ready empty the water and set aside .
-now is time to cook the sauce , chop the onion ( around half medium onion ) and if you choose to add garlic around 2 gloves ( chopped as well ) . Chop as well the basil leaves . Place a pan on the fire with 2 or 3 spoons of olive oil or regular oil , of course is preferable to always use olive oil when cooking the pasta but not so many people use it or like it so just use what you have in the kitchen , is totally fine !
-when the oil is heated up add first the onion and stir it for about 4 minutes and then add also the garlic and the basil leaves . Stir all together for some minutes .
-meantime you can cut very the fresh tomato into super small pieces .
-add the tomato into the pan and mix throw . Add as well the tomato sauce within ( 100ml ) and mix them all together for at least 5 minutes on medium fire .
-add the salt and black pepper and a pinch of dried oregano . Next step is to add the spaghetti into the sauce with the fire still going .
-mix the pasta into the sauce until is all looking even .
-now is time to close the fire and set aside for a minute . You can cut fresh parsley and add on top if you prefer or also add more black pepper . Me particularly i added some mozarella because i like the taste of the mozarella topping on top .
Now our dish is ready to be served !
This was my recipe for Spaghetti with tomato sauce and i hope all you guys a great Sunday afternoon with your family and loved ones and what a better evening than a great pasta recipe !
Enjoyed it of course with my favorite drink which is always Red Bull !
Bon Appetit ...
