Salad with beans

The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about this other recipe, which I find pretty delicious and useful in many situations. This is a salad, which is very nourishing and pretty light to eat, at the same time. This is a very good salad to have at home and use whenever you feel like it, because you can serve it to your guests, or you can just have it for yourself.

This dish they call it salad with beans, however, it contains more than just beans and, to be honest, there are many ingredients other than the beans in this salad, if you want to know the truth. However, you shouldn’t get confused and you shouldn’t think, that the preparation of this salad is very difficult or something like that, because it is not and you will see it for yourself if you prepare it.

So that, let me tell you about the preparation of this salad.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken fillet, 2 pieces
  • Beans, 500 grams
  • Canned green peas, 250 grams
  • Eggs,  4 medium
  • Cucumber pickles, 200 grams
  • Parsley, 40 grams
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground red pepper to taste
  • Mayonnaise, 150 ml

Preparation process

Well, the preparation process starts with the main ingredients, which are the chicken fillets and beans.

I usually start with the chicken fillets, because they are pretty much easy to prepare. However, it depends on you, how you want to prepare the chicken fillets.

Well, you can take the chicken fillets and have a boiling water into the saucepan and then put them in there and wait for the water to get boiled again and then you have to have it like that for about half an hour, until the chicken fillets are ready. You can even cut them into smaller pieces and boil them that way and in that case, the chicken fillet pieces will get boiled more quickly than the whole ones.

The second method, that you can use is the convection oven, which I usually use to prepare chicken fillets. It’s a pretty good method and I can just cut the chicken fillets into small cubes and then I can put a pan on a high wreck and put them into the convection oven and have them for half an hour or so on the 190 degrees Celsius and that’s just it, I won’t have to boil any water or something like that.

Well, in the meantime, you can prepare the beans. Of course, you can use the canned beans, too, and if you don’t want to waste your precious time preparing the beans, you can just buy one can of cooked beans and use them. You can also buy that ND product cooked beans, which costs about 4 Laris and you can use that in your dish and, I must say, that it’s pretty delicious and worth buying.

If you don’t buy the beans and you want to prepare them on your own, you can take the beans and wash them thoroughly and then you can put them into the saucepan and have some water poured on them just to cover them. Then you just have to put the saucepan on the gas and wait for the water to get boiled. When the water boils, you should spill the water out and pour new water into that saucepan with beans and kind of fill the saucepan with the water and let it get boiled. When the water gets boiled, you can have the heat on medium level or on low and you can just have some salt added, so that the beans will have some delicious taste.

Well , it needs some time for the beans to get cooked, however, they will be cooked faster, if you had them soaked in the water overnight or for some hours.

In the meantime, you can take these 4 eggs and have them into a small saucepan and fill it with water to cover the eggs and let the water boil on a high heat. After the water boils, you can just turn it down to a low heat and have them like that for about 10 minutes or so, so that they will get hard boiled.

When the eggs are boiled, you can take them out and put them into cold water, so that they will get cold and it will be easy to peel them.

You should also take the beans out of their stock and have them set aside, so that they will get cold.

Meanwhile, you can just take the parsley and wash it and chop itand I usually do that with my chopper-blender, which is a pretty good chopper, if you want to know the truth.

So that, when everything’s ready, you can take a large bowl and put the chicken fillet cubes in it. You can also add the canned green peas to them.

You should also cut the eggs into small pieces and add them to the bowl.

You should also add the cold cooked beans to the bowl and add some salt and chopped parsley. You can also add some chopped fennel if you want to.

Then, you should take the cucumber picklesand cut them into small cubes, too, and add them to the bowl.

It’s up to you if you add the ground red pepper or any other spices to the dish.

After that, you just have to pour the mayonnaise to the dish and the salad is ready!

Well, this salad is really not that time consuming and difficult to prepare and it’s even easier when you use the canned beans or prepared ones, so that you won’t waste your time preparing them. I pretty much recommend buying the ND product beans, because they don’t cost too much and they taste delicious and they are already precooked and you don’t need to cook them or something like that.
