Mushrooms with tarragon
The introduction
Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!
In this article I want to tell you about this amazing recipe, which we usually love and though we don’t often prepare it, we really love eating it, because it’s healthy and light and very good to eat.
Well, it’s not like it needs too much preparation or too much effort to prepare this salad and that’s why I really like it, and, besides, it contains a lot of proteins, which is good for us and it’s just as healthy as it can be!
Ingredients:
- Mushrooms, 500 grams
- Onions, 1 medium
- Tarragon, 50 grams
- Fresh coriander, 20 grams
- Salt to taste
- Tkemali sauce (optional)
- Wine
- Red pepper to taste
- Water
Preparation process
- Well, if you have the field mushrooms, you can take their feet off and put them into the boiling water for a couple of minutes. That water should have some black pepper and bay leaf and salt in it and you should also add the celery and parsley into the water.
- After a couple of minutes, you can take the mushrooms out and cut them into halves or slice them into many slices and then you can put them into oily frying pan and cook them for a couple of minutes.
- In the meantime, you should have the onions peeled and chopped and you should have some butter into the frying pan and cook them until they are golden in colour. You should also add some salt to the onion pieces.
- In the meantime, you can wash and chop the fresh coriander. And you should also take the tarragon leaves and chop them too.
- You should then add the cooked mushrooms to the cooked onions and you should also add the chopped fresh coriander and tarragon and add some black pepper and cumin and you should cook them together in some butter for about 10 to 15 minutes.
- You can also have some Tkemali sauce and wine added to the frying pan while cooking, however, the Tkemali sauce shouldn’t be too much, or else, it will have some different taste.
- Now that there are some canned mushrooms sold, it’s pretty easy to buy them and prepare this salad with them, because you don’t need much time in preparing this thing and, besides, it’s pretty delicious and it’s probably more delicious than the mushrooms, which you prepare, however, they are canned and different from those ones, which are freshly cut.
- If you buy the canned mushrooms, you can just pour some boiling water onto them and then put them into the frying pan and cook them that way and that’s just it, if you want to know the truth.
So that, preparing mushrooms with tarragon is a really easy thing and, besides, it’s pretty much healthy and the mushrooms contain vitamins, which are good for you. It’s a very easy salad and you can always have it prepared and serve it to friends in no time., and it doesn’t cost much.
