Mushrooms with green peas

In this article I want to tell you about this other recipe, which is a really easy one and, besides, it’s pretty much healthy and it doesn’t need much ingredients and , so that, it’s a pretty cheap one.
I didn’t really know anything about this dish, until just recently, when I wanted to prepare something with mushrooms and green peas, because those were the ingredients, which I had at home, and, besides, I wanted to have those two into one dish, which I would like to eat. So that, I found this recipe, which was called “Mushrooms with green peas” and I tried and prepared it and it was pretty good, I must say.
Well, let me tell you about the preparation of this mushrooms with green peas.
Ingredients:
- Mushrooms, field, 1 kilogramme
- Canned green peas, 1 can
- Onions, 2 medium
- Tomato sauce, 1 small can
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Fennel, 40 grams (to taste)
- Sour cream, 100 grams
Preparation process
Well, the preparation process starts with the preparation of those mushrooms. There are 1 kilogramme of them sold in the large supermarkets and you can just buy them and have them in your dish.
So that, when you have those mushrooms, you should clean them and kind of peel them and wash them and the chop them into small pieces.
If you don’t want to have those mushrooms prepared , you can buy the canned mushrooms and you will just have to open the can and do nothing more, if you want to know the truth.
After that, you should pour some oil on the frying pan and preheat it and then you should have the onions prepared.
Well, you should peel the onions and wash and chop them and usually I do that with my chopper-blender, which is a pretty good thing for chopping plenty of things, including the onions with a simple push.
When you have chopped the onions, you can put them into the preheated frying pan and have them cooked occasionally stirring and having them on a high heat until they get golden in colour. And you should be careful not to burn them, or else you will have to prepare the onions from the very beginning.
When the onions are cooked, you can add the mushrooms to them and cook them well together. That’s why I like the canned mushrooms, because they are already kind of cooked and they don’t need much time cooking again.
You should also add some salt and ground black pepper to the mushrooms in the frying pan.
In the meantime, you should wash and chop the fennel and add it to the mushrooms, too.
After that, you can add the tomato sauce and sour cream and then, you can add the canned green peas to the mushrooms, too, at the very end.
You should mix everything together and then have them like that for about 5-7 minutes in the frying pan with the lid on.
After that, you can serve the dish, which is a pretty great thing, if you ask me.
Well, this is a pretty healthy dish, which you can prepare in no time and, besides, it’s a pretty large portion, so that if you want to have it just for yourself, you should prepare half of it or even less, if you ask me. It’s a pretty nourishing dish, too, so that you won’t have to eat anything else with it and you won’t feel hungry after eating this for some time. And, besides, it’s a pretty fancy dish, if you want to know the truth.
