Italian Tiramisu
Today I would like to show you one of the typical Italian sweets that is really easy to prepare, and yes propbably you know this dessert very well, they call this tiramisu.
Honestly? I'm in love!
There is many receipt what you can find, but because my boyfriend is italian I could learn from specialist. Doesn't metter in which restaurant you will try tiramisu, for my opinion the best one is this which you can prepare at home. And as I said, this is really easy, also because you don't neet to prepare cake.

What do you need to prepare
Generally there is not so many ingredients, but really important is to find good savoiardi, another ingredients you should to have at home. The ingredients that are needed to prepare tiramisu are:
- Savoiardi 300 grams (types of cookies or alternatively Pavesini can be used, in UK you can find them even in Asda, or another market);
- 4 medium fresh eggs, is petter if they are not from fridge, generally any of the ingrediens shouldn't be cold;
- Sugar 100 grams, better is white then brown, but if you would like to reduce calloris you can of course used it, but the taste will not be the same;
- Coffee 300 grams, the best will be if coffee will be already sweet how much? How much do you want, and coffe have to be cold;
- Mascarpone 500 grams, basically in uk you need 2 boxes;
- Unsweetened cocoa powder, I don't suggest to use swwet one, because can be too sweet;
Step by step
First of all relax, there is nothing to fail here.
- Make a coffee, take a cup and drink;) but remember you need also coffee and need cool down;
- For starters take the eggs and separate the yolk from the albumen, and then first you need to beat the egg yolks with an electric whisk, and add only half of the sugar.
- When the mixture becomes clear, (the best way to check is put oposit the bowl if is not licking is good, then you must add the cold mascarpone, even this one at a time. The compound obtained must be dense and compact.
- Now you have to mount the albumins using the remaining sugar and pour it a little at a time if you will add to fast the consistance will not be the same.
- Now you have to take the egg whites with a ladle and mix them with the yolks and the sugar energetically; after you have to add the rest of the egg whites a little at a time and mix gently from top to bottom, doing what you have complied cream for our tiramisu.
- Take a tray (not too big, but if is big you will have just one floor remember about that) and used a layer of cream on the bottom, after the sponge (savoiardi) soaked in coffee and arrange them in the tray so as to form the first layer;
- Made this cream spread again and start over again by making the second layer and so on until the end of the compound then you can eat what is sgtill in a bowl or add you your coffee is really delicious.

- Once finished, you need to level the cream so that it has a homogeneous and smooth product. Put on the bitter cocoa and put the tiramisu in the fridge; Let it cool for a couple of hours this part is really important for my opinion you can also leave for night. Because the taste will be better.
What else can I offer? This is the basic recipe, but you can also make Strawberry Tiramisu or Tiramisu with Nutella both are really good I think wiwt strawberry is better during a summer time, because the cake is refreshing. You can serve with coffee, with some liqueur also with ice cream. I really like tiramisu and trust me even that will be your first dessert ever will be fantastic!

To make tiramisu with nutella you need:
- 12 savoiardi or you can call them ladyfingers, of course is possible you will beed a bit more;
- 250 grams of mascarpone;
- 3 egg yolks;
- 100 grams sugar;
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract but if you don't have don't worry;
- ¼ cup of Nutella but honestly Im using a bit more;
- half cup of black coffee, can't be hot remember;
- 2 tablespoons any coffee liqueur;
- cocoa powder;
The preparation is the same as the original tiramisu just remember first mascarpone cream then nutella cream, then another layer and on top a dusting of cocoa. Is really delicious and is difficult to don't take another piece.

Hey there. This looks really delicious but I just have a question. The recipe has eggs but in the preparation you don't cook them. How is that possible? What about salmonella and stuff?
