Eggs with fennel

The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about this recipe, which is pretty easy and a good one and a healthy one, if you want to know the truth. Well, it was prepared by my brother the other day and that's why I remembered it and I want to share it with you .

Well, usually all the people prepare it differently, I guess, however, the main ingredients and the main idea stay the same and it's the eggs with some other ingredients, such as herbs and mayonnaise, etc.

Anyways, you should know, that the main ingredient of this dish is the egg and then you can add some mayonnaise and fennel or some other herbs to it, however, now I will tell you about the dish, which my brother prepared the other day and how he prepared it.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs, 6 medium
  • Fennel, 10 grams
  • Mayonnaise, 50 grams
  • Water

Preparation process

  1. So that, the preparation process was pretty easy comparing to other dishes, if you want to know the truth. however, it all depends the person and how they prepare it.
  2. First of all, you should cook the eggs, I mean , they should be hard  boiled, so that you can put the eggs into a small saucepan and pour some water in it and then just put it on a gas on  a high heat, so that the water starts boiling quicklier. Well, when the water gets boiled, you can turn the heat down to medium and let the eggs get boiled for about  7 minutes or even more, because 5 minutes is not enough for the eggs to get hard boiled and if you leave them like that for about 10 minutes, it will be okay.
  3. In the meantime, you can have the fennel washed and choppedin small pieces and then just set them aside for the dish.

  4. When the eggs are boiled, you can pour the water out and put them in some cold water, so that they will get colder and it will be easier to have them peeled that way, because I guess, everyone knows, that it is really difficult to peel the eggs when they are hot.
  5. Well, anyways, when you peel the eggs, you can cut them into halves and take the egg yolks out and put them into a small bowl.
  6. After that, you can add that chopped fennel to the bowl and add some mayonnaise to your taste and then you should mix them together and that you can call it a filling of the dish.
  7. When you have prepared the filling , you can take some scoops of it and put them inside the egg whites, which you have left after taking the egg yolks from them.
  8. Then, you can just sprinkle some of the chopped fennel on top of the eggs and that's it, the dish is ready and you can serve it to your friends or family or even have it all for yourself.

So that, as you can see, it's really easy to prepare this dish and, besides, it's really beautiful and you can surprise your guests with that dish, I can say. And it doesn't need many things to do and it doesn't consume your time in either way, so that, I really recommend you prepare this dish when you have some guests over coming or even just for the breakfast, because it's said, that it's good to have some hard boiled eggs on breakfast, because then you won't feel hungry for quite some time.
