Cocoa and coffee cream

The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about the cream filling, which contains cocoa powder and coffee powder and it’s really delicious one and very good for the cakes and stuff like that.

I really like having some chocolate creams or something like that and this is a great cream filling for anything, or even for just eating it without anything else.

So that, let me tell you about the preparation of this delicious cream.

Ingredients:

  • Milk, 600 ml
  • White granulated sugar, 300 grams
  • All purpose flour, 250 grams
  • Vanilla
  • Unsalted butter, 200 grams
  • Cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon
  • Instant coffee powder, 1 teaspoon
  • Cognac, 2 tablespoons

Preparation process

Well, the preparation process is pretty simple. First of all, you should take the sugar and flour and mix them together.

Then, you should have the milk poured into the saucepan and let it boil, but you should be careful for it not to get spilled out of the saucepan, because while getting boiled, the milk then will go up and just spilled out in a seconds. You know, you can even use the water instead of milk and sometimes, when people are fasting, they prepare the cream without milk and instead they use the water and it’s pretty delicious, too , that way.

So that, when the milk is boiled or the water, you should add the sugar and flour mixture to the saucepan continuously whisking, so that the mixture will get kind of dissolved in the milk or water.

After that, you should just stir occasionally and have it on a high heat and let the mixture get cooked. It needs about half an hour to get cooked, so that you should know, that you shouldn’t take your eyes off the mixture during that time and you should stir occasionally, so that it won’t get burned on the bottom and won’t get stuck on the bottom of the saucepan.

The mixture should get thicker and it should be like a porridge and they usually call it a porridge in Georgian, if you want to know the truth.

After the mixture is cooked and ready, you should let is set aside and get cold.

In the meantime, you should have the unsalted butter taken out of the refrigerator and have it on the room temperature, so that then you should be able to mix it with the porridge. They also use the margarine, however, the butter is better, if you ask me.

You should then prepare the butter while you are waiting for the porridge to get cold.

You should take the standing mixer and put the butter into the standing mixer bowl and turn it on and whisk the butter until it’s white and fluffy.

After that, you can add the porridge to the butter little by little while the mixer still mixing.

When the porridge and the butter are mixed together, you can add the cocoa powder and coffee powder and vanillato the mixture and mix them well together, too.

You should then add the cognac and mix everything well and that’s just it, it’s ready to be eaten!

Well, this is a pretty wonderful cream filling or just cream or whatever, and you can use it in cakes or things like that and you can even use it like a mousse or pudding or whatever, because you can just eat it without anything else, it’s that delicious, if you ask me. I usually use it in trifles, because it’s very good that way, I mean, I have some biscuits put into small glasses and there are layers of biscuits and this cream filling and then the biscuits again and so on and so forth and you can even have some nuts in them or something like that and have them into the refrigerator and let them get cold and then serve them to your guests and they will just love them, if you want to know the truth!

So that, prepare this cream filling whenever you want to have a chocolate cream or something like that and enjoy your cooking!
