Chocolate & coffee dessert

The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about this recipe, which is a pretty good one and it’s a dessert, I must say, so that every dessert is a pretty good one, if you ask me, however, it’s not that good to eat many desserts, you know. in fact, it’s not good at all to eat those desserts, which have sugar in them and things like that, however, we really love desserts and it’s like impossible to say “no “ to them, if you want to know the truth.

Well, this is a dessert, which can be called chocolate and coffee pie  or tart or something like that and it’s a very delicious one and it’s pretty light to eat, because it doesn’t really have that biscuit, you know. and, besides, this dessert is a pretty cheap one, because it doesn’t need much ingredients, which cost too much and you just need a couple of things to buy for this dessert, if you want to know the truth.

So that, let me tell you about the preparation process.

Ingredients:

  • Dark chocolate, 250 grams
  • Instant coffee, 1 tablespoon
  • Cold water, 125 ml
  • Gelatin, 3 tablespoons
  • Eggs, 6 medium
  • Sugar powder, 150 grams
  • Unsalted butter, 50 grams
  • Cream, 150 ml
  • Cookies

Preparation process

Well, the preparation process is pretty easy and it’s not that time consuming as you might think, however, it needs some time and effort, of course.

So that, first of all, you should preheat the oven on 180 degrees Celsius and you should have a baking pan greased with some butter . and it should be that kind of baking pan, which then can be separated from the bottom and the walls and the cake can just be on the bottom of it. It’s really easy to find such baking pans in the large supermarkets and they don’t really cost much and, well, I prefer buying such baking pans, because they will be useful in many situations, if you want to know the truth.

After that, you can take a bowl or that chopper blender bowl, which I usually use to mix some ingredients together and you should break the cookies into some pieces and put them in that bowl and you should add the coffee powder and sugar powder to it and mix them well with that chopper blender. You should also add the butter, and mix them well together as well.

Well, when you have mixed these things together, you should pour the mixture on the greased baking pan and put it into the oven and have it baked for about 10 minutes or so.

After the mixture is baked, you can take it out of the oven and set it aside for it to get cooled down.

Meanwhile, you can prepare the filling for this dessert.

Chocolate & coffee dessert

You should take a larger bowl and have chocolate into the bowl and you should melt it on the steam. For that, you should take another smaller bowl and have some water in it and let the water boil and then you can put the larger bowl on it and have the chocolate melted that way.

You can separate the egg yolks from the egg whites and have the half of the egg yolks added to the bowl with the chocolate and mix them together. You should also add the sugar powder to the mixture and stir it.

After that chocolate is melted, you can take the bowl out of the gas and set it aside and add some coffee powder to it.

In the meantime, you should take a small bowl and have some cold water poured into it and add the gelatin to it and let it get dissolved or something like that.

After that, you can add the gelatin mixture to the chocolate and coffee mixture and mix them together and let them get cooled down.

You should then put the mixture into the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

When the chocolate mixture is very well cold, you can take the cream and have it in the mixing bowl of a standing mixer and have it whisked. Then you can add 2 tablespoons of sugar little by little while mixing still. After that, you can add the chocolate mixture to it.

You should whisk the egg whites in another bowl and have them become pretty soft and fluffy  and then add the remaining sugar to it little by little.

After that, you can add the chocolate mixture to the egg whites mixture.

You can then take the baking pan out of the refrigerator and have the chocolate mixture  poured into that thing and have it flattened and then you should put it into the refrigerator for about 6 hours until serving, because the dessert needs some assembling and then it will just be pretty delicious.

Well, this was about the chocolate and coffee dessert, which is a very light thing to eat and it’s a pretty good one if you love soufflés and chocolate and stuff like that, however, you should know, that it doesn’t really have a biscuit in it and it’s like a cheesecake , if you ask me, and not the usual cake, so that, if you are more of a biscuits guy, then you won’t like this dessert, if you ask me, but, who knows, maybe you will love it and prepare it another time, too.

So that, you should prepare this dessert and taste it if you love soufflés and cakes without biscuits and stuff like that. I hope, that you will like this kind of dessert and enjoy your cooking!
