The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about this recipe, which is a pretty simple one and it is a very delicious one, too. They call it chicken salad with carrots or vegetables or whatever. They have a lot of variety of those salads, if you want to know the truth. It's especially with the chicken fillets. I mean, you can prepare so many things with the chicken fillets, that you can not really imagine. However, those salads can become bitter pretty soon, especially if you don't have them in the refrigerator, so that it's better to have those salads prepared in small portions, rather than having them plenty, because when it's plenty, people don't really eat it and it's left like that and then it just gets bitter.

Anyways, let me tell you about this chicken carrot salad, which I prepared the other day.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken fillet, 1 kilogramme
  • carrots , 3 medium
  • Onions, 1 medium
  • Cucumber, 1 medium
  • Fresh coriander, 40 grams
  • salt to taste
  • Ground coriander to taste
  • Ground fenugreek to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Mayonnaise or Sour-cream, 6 tablespoons
  • Oil

Preparation process

So, the preparation process starts with preparing the chicken fillets. Well, you can buy that fzozen chicken fillets, which are packed in  1 kilogramme packages, because buying the half a kilogramme packages is not enough I guess, however, it all depends on the amount of the salad that you want to prepare. You can also buy the non-frozen chicken fillets, which I usually do. They sell some pretty good non-frozen chicken fillets just nearby my apartment  and it doesn't cost very expensive, so that I usually buy chicken fillets there, and, besides, it doesn't need to be melted or anything like that.

Well, when you have those chicken fillets, you can cook them into some boiling water. You can take some water and boil it and then put the chicken fillets inside of it and let it boil for about 50 minutes or so. After that the chicken fillets are ready. But what I usually do is to put the chicken fillets into the convection oven, which is a great thing for cooking chicken and fish, if you want to know the truth, and I have those chicken fillets inside of that convection oven until they are cooked. It doesn't need much time either, if you want to know the truth.

After that, you should shred the peeled and washed carrots.

You should then wash and chop the coriander. You should also chop the onions and have them cooked in a frying pan with some oil until they get golden in color.

You should then put the chicken fillets into the chopper blender and chop them for about 5 seconds and they will be perfectly chopped.

Then you have to add the chopped chicken fillets to the shredded carrots. You should also add the cooked onions and salt and black pepper and fresh chopped coriander.

You should also chop the cucumbers into thin slices or pieces and add them to the dish.

In the end, you should add some mayonnaise or sour-cream to the dish and mix everything together.
