Cheese bread
The introduction
Hello everyone, this is my another article about some recipes and this is just something , that I kind of made up, because I had some ingredients, which I wanted to use and I didn’t want to have a cake or something sweet, rather, I would like to have something like bread, but healthy and delicious and light.
So that, I thought for some time what to do and then I decided to have some cheese bread prepared, I mean, I had some cheese and if I just used some four and some other ingredients, it would just be bread, however, if I added that cheese to that flour and other things, it would become more delicious and something, that you would want to eat. So, I decided to have that cheese bread prepared. And I had this baking form for pound cakes and I could easily prepare it in that thing without too much effort and that was pretty good idea, if you ask me, because I would not worry about that cheese bread being overcooked or undercooked. It would just need about an hour to get all done.
Well, everything went just fine from the beginning and I had all those ingredients put on the table and got ready for the preparation and everything. it was really easy to do all that stuff, because I knew exactly what I was going to do, I mean, I didn’t really have a recipe or something like that, however, I knew in my head what to do.
Ingredients:
- Oatmeal, 1 ½ cup
- Unsalted butter, 50 grams
- Oil, 2 tablespoons
- Kefir, 20 ml
- Sour cream, 20 grams
- Mayonnaise blue cheese, 20 grams
- Cottage cheese, 20 grams
- Cheese, 50 grams
- Baking soda, 1 teaspoon
- Drops of vinegar
- Eggs, 2 medium
Preparation process
So the preparation process started with the oatmeals. I had them bought some time ago and I had been using it in different things and in baking, mostly. You know, it’s really a good idea to have them in your cakes or something like that, because It’s healthier, than the usual all-purpose wheat flour and that’s why I recommend using oatmeal in your cooking. Well, I had these whole oatmeals there and I wanted to have them as a flour or something like that, so that I took those 1 and a half cups of oatmeals and put them into a blender-chopper and had it turned on and after a couple of minutes, the oatmeals were like flour and I could just use them that way.
After that, I took 50 grams of unsalted butter. Well, it was not butter, but it was something like butterspread or whatever, so that it’s mainly not for eating, but for using it in cooking and stuff like that and I had it added to the flour with some oil, because oil would make the cheese bread soft and fluffy and things like that. And that’s why they usually add some oil to the pound cakes and everything. then I mixed those things together very well and then it was time for the next step.
Well, the next thing was to prepare this dairy mixture. I took some kefir and cottage cheese and sour cream and I also added that mayonnaise sauce with blue cheese and some cheese flavor,which I had bought the other day. It was a pretty delicious thing and I would love its taste to be in that cheese bread, too, so that’s why I added it to the mixture as well. Then I took that baking soda and dropped some vinegar on it and then I added it to the dairy mixture and whisked it, so that everything would get mixed.
I took two medium eggs and cracked them into a small bowl and checked them to see whether any of them was not eatable or something like that and they were just alright, so that I added them to the flour and butter and oil mixture and mixed them well together in that blender-chopper.
Then I added the dairy mixture to the flour mixture into that blender-chopper thing and mixed everything together and then there was just this cheese left to be added and I had some cheese added to it and turned the blender-chopper on and had it like that for a couple of minutes and then it was all ready to be put into that baking form and get it cooked.
Well, I have this convection oven, which my friend recommended to buy and I’m really satisfied with it and I’m really glad that I bought it and I do recommend buying it to everyone, too. So, I had this convection oven turned on and put that low rack into it and had it preheated while I put the dough into the baking form. And, well, until I put the dough into the baking form, I had some oil poured in it and greased it with oil, so that the dough wouldn’t get stuck in that baking form. Then I added the dough to the baking form and I had it flattened and I had some sesame seeds sprinkled all over the top of the dough and then I put the lid on and put the baking form into the convection oven and had it on 50 minutes on 175 degrees Celsius.
To be honest , I use to prepare some pound cakes in my convection oven and they jhust come out great and very delicious and the consistency is just perfect in that baking form and I didn’t really expect the cakes to come out of it that great, so that I was kind of skeptical about that in the beginning, however, when I first decided to have a shot and prepare a pound cake, it just came out perfectly goodand that’s when I started baking pound cakes in that convection oven and I didn’t make any of those until that. Well, I used to bake some cakes in my electric oven, however, the cakes didn’t turn out as I wanted, I mean, they didn’t get doubled in size or whatever and I couldn’t really understand, why, so that it got boring for me to try all those different things just to prepare some good cakes and then I just realized, that I didn’t want cakes to be prepared there and I would just buy them in the shops and supermarkets and that would just be it and that’s what I used to do after that until I bought this convection oven and decided to have it tested for baking some pound cakes. And now I wanted to have a pound cake , but not like a cake, I mean, it wouldn’t be any sweet or whatever, it would be a cheese bread in that pound cake shape and I was pretty excited about that and I was looking forward to seeing and tasting what I had done with that thing.
Well, when it was all ready and the time had passed and I could take the cheese bread out of the baking pan, I couldn’t really wait for it to get cooled down, I just wanted to eat it right away, however, I knew, that I couldn’t eat it right away, of course and that I had to wait for some time for it to get warm or something like that. However, the smell was just amazing and it smelled kind of like Khachapuri, because of some cheese, however, there was not much cheese in it. There was more like cottage cheese and some sour cream in it and it smelled more like that homemade cottage cheese, I guess. And when I tasted the cheese bread, it was really delicious and it had all those flavours from those ingredients and I just really liked it. It would be great, if I had added some more cheese, I guess, but I didn’t know how it would come out then and that’s why I didn’t have too many ingredients in it, though I decided that when I prepare something like that the next time, I will definitely use the cheese more in it and see how it will bee baked there.
Well, this time, everything was just fine and great and my cheese bread was all very delicious and worthy of baking. So that , if you don’t want to have something sweet and you just want to have a kind of meal or something, you can just prepare this delicious cheese bread for yourself or for anyone else and enjoy eating it!
