Cauliflower stew

Finding a place to eat in Wroclaw is not that difficult. The well-known milk bars and various canteens offer a wide variety of affordable and tasty meals. But after a while you can get bored with the menu and it that case to make your diet more varied cooking is the best option.

What will you need?

1 cauliflower

1 onion

150 g pasta (I used macaroni)

6 tablespoon of ketchup

some salt

1 tablespoon of fat/oil

(For buying the vegetables I recommend you to visit the Market Hall or the vegetable and fruit stands which you can find in almost every street of Wroclaw.)

Directions

Chop the onion into small pieces and cook it in hot fat (or oil). Add the ketchup, the salt, the pasta and water. Cut the cauliflower into the smallest possible florets so they cook faster. Add them into the pan. Cook the pasta and the cauliflower until soft. Add some water and ketchup if you want more gravy. Serve it and enjoy.

Extra tip: if you miss meat from the recipe you can add some sausage to the onions and cook them together.

Why to try this recipe?

-it is easy and quick

- it is delicious

 - it is healthier that eating out every day

- it is wallet-friendly (from cca 12zl/3euros you can have at least 3 servings)

- seeing your own dish on the table will make you very proud of yourself
