Caldo Verde
CALDO VERDE
Ingredients
1 kg of potato
3 wedges of sliced smoked sausage
1 bunch of kale sliced
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 envelope ready seasoning (I use red Sazon)
Salt to taste
Cilantro to taste if desired
method of preparation
In a pressure cooker cook for about 15 minutes, the potatoes and sausage (put water covering the potatoes and passing a 2 fingers up approximately).
In another pan saute onion, garlic, cabbage and seasonings.
After the potatoes cooked, remove the sausages and set aside. Liquidise potatoes and steamed cabbage with a little of the cooking broth. (I do this process in a blender on twice).
Add the broth hit with the sausages. Correct salt if necessary.
