Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about this recipe, which I find pretty interesting and I just found out about it some time ago, so that it has not been long, since I have been preparing this kind of dish, however, when you taste it, you will understand why you just have to prepare this dish pretty often.

Well, this dish is a soup of broccoli and cheese and for those, who don’t like broccoli, I must tell you, that this is a perfect solution to eat broccoli in a pretty delicious way and, besides, children even eat this dish, because they don’t think, that there’s this unbearable broccoli inside the dish, if you want to know the truth.

To be honest, I was not going to prepare this dish when I saw broccoli in the recipe, however, it was a really interesting one with cheese and then I just decided to give it a try. You know, it’s really necessary and very important to have broccoli in your daily diet, because it contains lots of vitamins and it’s very healthy and good for us.

So that, let me tell you about the preparation of this dish, which is a great one to have at home.

Ingredients:

  • Cheese, 4 cups
  • Parmeggiano, 1 cup
  • Corn flour, 1 tablespoon
  • Ground red pepper, ¼ teaspoon
  • Garlic, ½ clove
  • Milk, 3 cups
  • Chicken stock, 1 cup
  • Broccoli, 1 medium
  • Baguette, 1 medium

Preparation process

Well, the preparation of this dish is very easy and everyone can do it, if you want to know the truth, so that, you shouldn’t get scared of all those ingredients list here, because you will just have to add them to the dish and that’s just it. Well, of course, you will have to do some things on your own, however, the dish will get cooked in just no time.

So, you should first shred the cheese and you don’t need lots of cheese, however, it should be plenty, if you love cheese in your dishes. Well, you may not buy the parmeggiano regiano, because it’s kind of expensive, however, you can buy some fatty cheese instead of that. Then I usually shred the cheese into my chopper-blender and it just chops the cheese into very small pieces and I don’t really need a shredder to shred the cheese on it, and , besides, I really don’t like using the shredder, because it’s just not very comfortable thing , if you want to know the truth.

Well, after you have shredded the cheese, you can put it into the bowl and add the corn flour and some ground red pepper and mix them well together on a medium heat. You can either have them in a heatproof bowl or in the saucepan already and have the cheese melted that way.

When the cheese with the cornflour gets melted, you should add some milk and chicken stock to it. Well, you may not want to have the chicken stock in your dish and in that case, you can have boiled water instead of that, or you can just have the boiled water with some Galina Blanca cubes in it, which have that chicken taste and it’s pretty good rather than using the chicken stock, if you ask me, because it’s pretty oily with that chicken fat.

Anyways, you should also take that half of the garlic clove and peel it and squash it and add it to the dish.

After that, you can just take the broccoli and cut it into small pieces and then you can just wash them and add them to the dish, too.

You should then have the dish get boiled and you should have it like that for about 5 minutes of boiling and then the dish is just ready.

It’s really better, if you cut the broccoli into pretty much small pieces, because that way the stock will be eaten pretty easily and it will be much more comfortable to eat it that way.

You can also try and squash the broccolis after they are soft and cooked and then you will have some broccoli cream- soup with cheese, which will also be just great, if you want to know the truth.

Well, anyways, you should prepare this broccoli with cheese and enjoy its delicious taste anytime you want, however, I should warn you, that you shouldn’t use salty cheese, because that way, the dish may get too salty, it depends on the cheese, of course, however, if that happens, you can just have some milk or boiling water added, which will make the dish less salty to taste.
